How to use Dataset Editor

How to open the Dataset Editor

Please use dataset editor from PC or Mac.

1. Log in to the file browser and click "Dataset Editor".

2. After the first browser start up, an alert about the operation will be displayed, so click "AGREE".

# Depending on the operation content, your data may be deleted, please use with full caution.

3. The dataset editor opens.

 

About the screen

Dataset detail screen

Click the data set name to display detailed information.

Dataset Editor How to operate

Create a data set (when creating it under [/ files], [/ backup])

Up to 11 data sets can be created including [/].

1. Click the cell of the dataset name for which you want to create a dataset.

The information of the clicked dataset opens.

2. Click "Create child data set here".

The data set creation screen opens.

3. Enter the data set name and click "Create".

# The upper limit of the number of characters is 64 characters including the number of characters of the upper hierarchical data set.

# Characters that can be used are only half size alphanumeric characters and "." "_" "-".

4. A dataset is created.

If it is not reflected, click "Update".

 

Create a data set (when creating it on the top level)

You can create two data sets, "files" and "backup" at the top level.

Click the "Create dataset" button at the upper left of the dataset editor.

The subsequent steps are the same as for the topic above.

 

Delete data set

1. Log in to the file browser and click "Dataset Editor" to open the dataset editor.

2. Click the data set name cell of the dataset you want to delete and open the detailed information of the dataset.

3. Click "Delete dataset".

The data set deletion screen opens.

4. Click "Delete".

5. The data set is deleted.

# If it is not reflected, please click "Update".

 

Create a snapshot

1. Log in to the file browser and click "Dataset Editor" to open the dataset editor.

2. Create a snapshot Click on the dataset name cell in the dataset to open the dataset's detailed information.

3. Click the "Create Snapshot" button.

The snapshot creation screen opens.

4. Enter the snapshot name and click the "Create" button.

# You can use half-width alphanumeric characters "." "_" "-" for the snapshot name.

# The snapshot name can be up to 64 characters.

5. A snapshot is created.

# If it is not reflected, please click "Update".

6. If you attempt to create a snapshot that exceeds the maximum number of snapshots "50", an error message will be displayed.

Please remove unnecessary snapshot and create it again so that it falls within the upper limit.

When the remaining capacity decreases, the snapshot is automatically deleted by the system.

 

Delete snapshot

1. Log in to the file browser and click "Dataset Editor" to open the dataset editor.

2. Click the dataset name cell in the dataset you want to delete the snapshot to open the detailed information of the dataset.

3. Click "Delete" of the snapshot you want to delete.

The Delete Snapshot screen opens.

4. Click "Delete".

5. The snapshot is deleted.
